At Central Axe Throwing, we bring a modern twist to the classic thrill of axe throwing—now paired with interactive digital games, Virtual Reality experiences, and Glow & Throw Nights every Thursday.

Each of our lanes comes equipped with its own projector displaying digital targets, games, and scoreboards for a fully interactive experience. Each lane accommodates up to four people, with close-toed shoes required and participants ages 8+ welcome.

Looking to celebrate a birthday, team event, or night out with friends? Ask about our private party and corporate event packages, which now include VR gaming at no additional cost.

Our Story

Welcome to Central Axe Throwing, founded by Dalton and Emma Keene in 2024. As Ellensburg's only indoor axe-throwing venue, we’re proud to offer a one-of-a-kind entertainment experience that combines cutting-edge technology, exciting games, and unforgettable memories.

Our lanes feature state-of-the-art digital targets, allowing you to throw real axes at interactive projections and switch between games with the touch of a button. We also offer a growing lineup of Virtual Reality gaming with Meta Quest 3 headsets, giving guests a whole new way to play, compete, and explore immersive worlds.

Looking for a space to celebrate or team up? We host private parties and corporate events with up to five lanes of axe throwing, an engaging digital game library, and VR gaming included at no extra cost—perfect for birthdays, team outings, or reunions.

Join us for our popular Glow & Throw Nights every Thursday, featuring blacklight axe throwing, 15% off throwing & VR gaming, and $1 off all drinks and snacks—the perfect mix of fun and savings.
